Cost: $100 per week (members - $90)
Time: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Step into the shoes of a wildlife caretaker at Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary! Campers will experience the exciting and rewarding world of animal care, learning what it truly takes to support and protect the sanctuary’s wild residents. Through hands-on activities, animal care routines, and fun meet-and-greets with our ambassador animals, you’ll discover the vital role of animal keepers. Work alongside our expert educators to learn about feeding, habitat enrichment, and the daily responsibilities that help our animals thrive. Get ready for an immersive, educational, and action-packed adventure that celebrates the beauty of wildlife and the dedication it takes to care for them!

Schedule each day:
9:20 am : Drop-off in the gift shop
9:30 am : Camp starts
11:00 am : Snack and Water Break
12:00 : Pick-up in the front yard
There will be a different theme each day of camp!
Camp ends at 12pm promptly. Pick-up is in the yard in front of the Sanctuary gift shop from 12pm -12:15pm.
Camp starts at 9:30 am promplty. You may come to the gift shop to check in and drop off your child up to 15 minutes before. If you are running late, please reach out to education@yellowstonewildlife.org (406-426-1210) to let them know.
- Waterbottle
- Snack
- Hat/sunglasses (please apply sunscreen beforehand)
- Closed-toed shoes
- Clothes that can get messy!
Check in 10-15 minutes before on the first day!
A full refund will be provided if cancellation is made 72 hours in advance. Cancellations less than 72 hours in advance receive a 50% refund on tickets. There are no partial refunds if you are unable to attend one or more days.
If the Sanctuary has an unexpected closure due to weather, animal care, etc. you may choose between
a) A full refund of your tickets purchased.
b) Applying your purchase to a future/rescheduled visit.
c) Apply your ticket purchase to a donation to the Sanctuary.
