SPECIAL EVENT – FEBRUARY 22ND!JOIN US FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE DAY OF BIRDING AND SNOWSHOEING WITH THE MONTANA AUDUBON CENTER!
Winter Wildlife Explorers is designed for campers ages 8 and up, offering an in-depth exploration of winter wildlife through hands-on activities and engaging projects. Each week, campers will dive into a new scientific topic related to winter wildlife, while also working on a special enrichment project that will span the entire camp.
Held every other Saturday in February and March from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, this camp is the perfect opportunity to get your child outside and engaged in hands-on learning through play and activities. Campers will explore exciting topics through indoor activities in our education building, outdoor adventures on the sanctuary grounds, and nature walks on the trails of Coal Miners Park.
In addition to these activities, campers will have the exciting opportunity to help choose a name for a new education ambassador joining the program soon! This camp is perfect for curious minds who are eager to dive deeper into winter ecology and discover the science behind the season.

Camp ends at 3:30 pm promptly in the education building.
Camp starts at 1:00 pm. You may come to the giftshop to check in and drop off your child up to 15 minutes before. If you are running late please reach out to the education team at (406) 426-1210.

A full refund will be provided if cancellation is made 72 hours in advance. Cancellations less than 72 hours in advance recieve a 50% refund on tickets. There are no partial refunds if you are unable to attendd one or more days.
If Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary has an unexpected closure due to weather, animal care, etc. you may choose between:
- A full refund of your tickets purchased.
- Applying your purchase to a future/rescheduled visit.
- Apply your ticket purchase to a donation to YWS.
